Anyone applying to the UCLA MSN-Advanced Practice program for Fall 2014? I applied for the FNP program. I figured we could use this thread to chat and update each other!

Nothing for me either. Mayby they're letting different programs know first. CONGRATS GEMI & everyone else that has been accepted!

I don't know why I didn't realize this before.. but my letter says the statement of intent is due by the date indicated from the department. I spent a while panicking and looking all over the UCLA URSA site for it..

Then it hit me that the letter was just from UCLA itself and not the SON.

So I'm not sure how the SON is notifying people?

According to SON, 57 people applied for the Adult/Gero Acute Care NP and they will take up to 24.

Ah, I see - I just asked because the email came late today, after the admission letter was posted online.

Neither the email or the letter have the deadline when to accept/reject...

But I suppose that was what happened in the past - the physical letter came a few days later and people only had a couple days to accept right?

I am just wondering from all of those who have been accepted to ACNP program: you recieved notification from RF not MC, correct? So maybe MC has not released his group of admits...does that make sense? I say this because I was reading other threads and they all say email was from RF not MC. I have only recieved emails from MC in past.

Yes I recieved my acceptance email from RF. MC has corresponded from me in the past as soon as I turned in my application to notify me that my physio and physical assessment were outdated.

But it I was thinking the same thing as you

I received an acceptance letter via email from UCLA, but not the school of nursing. I have not received any notification from the school of nursing directly. My status changed online before I received the admission letter via email from UCLA's graduate division.

I'm curious to know why the SON has not notified me yet?

When you get accepted, can you tell us what program you applied for? Sounds like the AC/gero acceptances are currently out. Is that correct?
