I received my letter today (I live in Culver City) and I am admitted! It's been a roller coaster ride. I'm stoked to get started. For all those waiting/wait-listed, hang in there and never give up. I hope everyone the best.

I received my letter today and I am accepted!! I am so excited. Good luck to all on the wait list and those who haven't heard.

Should we start a Facebook group or all nursing group for admitted students? It would be great to talk to others in the cohort along the way. I definitely have questions about pre-reqs and where to live in LA (I live in the Bay Area currently).

I got my letter today and I live in Sacramento. I got in!!!! I'm so excited!! I like the idea of all of us keeping in touch. Lots to plan these coming months!

Regarding the FB group, I was thinking that on Saturday when I got my letter! Other threads in the past said "UCLA MECN ___" (insert grad year). Maybe "UCLA MECN 2015"?

Also for those admitted - did you send an e-mail accepting the offer? I did on Saturday and I got a response this morning. It said that my link to register would be coming soon. I'm so excited! Wondering if anyone who has already accepted admittance has received the link yet?

I sent an email accepting the offer but haven't received a link yet. I'm starting to research neighborhoods in LA and figure out where to take my remaining prereqs. Fun! UCLA MECN 2015 sounds great! Is anyone good at setting up Facebook groups?

Oh okay, can you let me know when you get it? I'm thinking we should get it by Friday. Good luck! I know how to make it, but you need to add Facebook friends (at least 1) to set it up. Does anyone know of another way?

Hi guys, I went ahead and started a Facebook group page for all of us to communicate on :) The name of the group is "UCLA MECN 2015", and it's an "open group"... so anyone can access the page (as long as they have a Facebook account).

Once you get to the page, you should see the "Join Group" button (towards the upper right portion of the page). Click on that button, and you should be in the group! Please let me know if this doesn't work for some reason. And feel free to spread the word about the Group page!
