UCLA MECN FALL 2013

Have been looking around and haven't really seen a topic on this yet. This is my dream school/program. I am from Seattle so I am having to get a lot of info from them long-distance instead of going to an information session. Has anyone gone to an information session yet?

Hey jkm07, I received the same notification regarding the alternate list and e-mailing them to remain on it. Do you know who to send the correspondences to? I found the e-mail for the person who signed off on the letter, but I noticed she provided e-mails for two other people in case there are any questions or concerns. I just want to make sure I am directing my request to the right person! Please let me know who you sent yours to. Thanks in advance & congrats for getting this far!

I heard that Charles R. Drew University wasn't as difficult to get in to. They are located in the Los Angeles area and they are fully accredited. The programs are RN/MSN and FNP programs. Check them out!!!

I actually applied to CDU and are waiting to hear back from them too. I should know if I got an interview from by the end of the month. It seems like a great school and they're actually affiliated with UCLA, so I would be happy going to either school.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten good news! I live in Los Angeles and have not heard back yet. I tried looking online where I submitted my application to see if there was any change in the status of my application, but didn't see anything either. Hopefully we will all be notified tomorrow so we can be done waiting and worrying. Best of luck to everyone.
