Have been looking around and haven't really seen a topic on this yet. This is my dream school/program. I am from Seattle so I am having to get a lot of info from them long-distance instead of going to an information session. Has anyone gone to an information session yet?
Yes, letters are up online. I received my rejection. I'm feeling pretty neutral about it. UCLA SON was my first and only choice this year, but this opens the door to some other possibilities. I'd be interested to know the credentials of those who were admitted and rejected. I went in with a 3.5 undergraduate, 3.7 master's (completed), 3.9 nursing prereqs. I'd completed all but two courses-Chem 2 & epidemiology. I had great recs, and a statement that seemed strong to me. Who knows...maybe I'm too old? I'll probably reapply next year, but time will tell. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting to hear!
For all of us still waiting, I work at UCLA and we have extremely slow mail. It has to go through an internal mail system before it even goes out. This may be why those of us who didn't get a letter yesterday. At any rate, I am still trying so hard not to get excited, but this anticipation is killing me!
