UCLA MECN FALL 2013

Have been looking around and haven't really seen a topic on this yet. This is my dream school/program. I am from Seattle so I am having to get a lot of info from them long-distance instead of going to an information session. Has anyone gone to an information session yet?

i hope so dude nurse. the 2012 forum had 10 pages of discussion by march 2nd. we have 19 pages and it's only march 1st. so the discussion really has picked up in here. the suspense is killing me! i'm at work, but have you contacted the school?

stuff like this varies per year and the type of people in the forums. it has picked up, but its mostly a discussion between a handful of us.. 10 or so people. given such a small sample size its hard to make any hypothesis of the potential outcome. its possible all of our guessing is wrong and the process has changed from the previous years or we could be right on track and this forum attracted a highly qualified group of people. i dont know. the only real information worth trusting is the letter we should get here real soon in our mailboxes.

I called the school earlier today ~1220, they said all decisions (rejections/acceptances) were mailed out yesterday and all online decisions were released yesterday as well.

ok. idk where my first post went...but here it goes again.

I dont have the strength for this! :crying2: I checked online this morning, with the emotional help of a friend and I got the "no response" response. And I haven't been able to get the strength to check again to see if they changed it to "not accepted". But by the looks of it as of this morning they had all the responses out....GAAAAHHH!! i dont know....i need a libation!

I live in la and I didn't get anything online or by mail. Why would they say all online decisions were released yesterday?!

I called the admissions office and was told letters were sent out yesterday. Good luck everyone!! I'm in the Bay Area so my letter probably won't arrive until Monday or Tues.

Ok, just so you guys know its more than one, I too got the rejection letter on the website today. A bummer but, c'est la vie. Congrats to all who get in!! Wishing you the very best! :) cheers
