@nurselefteyeHello! I'm also applying to UCI 2020.

I graduated from undergrad a few years ago, &worked in healthcare since then. Why is this thread so dead? lol. How far along are you in your application process?

Lol! I don’t know! Maybe because the application deadline is so late compared to other schools? I actually submitted this application when I submitted my application to UCLA in late October. What about you?

Hello! I just found this thread and am also applying to UCI ? I have not submitted my application yet but will in the coming weeks. @nurselefteye I applied to UCLA also!

A little about me...

I have a cumulative GPA of 3.8 (prereqs closer to 3.5, ugh ?). I have some research experience, am currently working as a chiropractic assistant, have my CNA certificate, and loads of volunteer experience in hospitals and in under-resourced communities. I am so grateful for these forums so it doesn't feel like we are going through this stressful time alone! Good luck to everyone who is still finishing up their applications!

I just applied yesterday and got (hopefully) all good LORs.

My GPA is 3.4 and my science GPA is 3.7.

Is that true that they do not count science GPA?

I do not have much experience

Hello! Did you guys get close to reaching the 1200 word maximum for each of the statements? Both of mine are only about 600 words each. I feel like the word limit for UCI is much greater than all of the other schools that I applied to...

I do not think the longer is the better.... Mine was not long either.

So I have 4 letters or recommendation and we are supposed to submit 3

I contacted the nursing department and they told me to remove one and leave 3 best. How do we know which one to remove? Any advice?

Wow i did not know that. If that's the case -- i have 4 as well but now i am worried that they already went through my application? i would go ahead and remove the one that you think is the weakest. anyone else submitted 4??

How would you guess which one is the weakest? I just got 5th! I just got a email my last recommender has submitted it!

i assumed you can just log in and it would show you them by name but now i just logged in and i am not sure where to do that. Ahh.

They are there by names but how do I know which one is the weakest? That is the tricky question! What If I delete the best one?
