UCF Traditional and Accelerated BSN-2014

Hello!

The application window starts January 1st, which is a couple weeks away from now. I am excited to apply though and see what happens. Who else is planning to apply here?

I am planning on applying to both the accelerated and traditional pathways.

Hello Everyone

I applied to the basic program and I called yesterday to see if they were close to making decisions, the lady I spoke to said they were most likely going to take the full 8 week time period. She also said most of the time decision notices were sent out on Fridays, sometimes late at night. So if we do not hear from them tomorrow , hopefully we will hear from them next friday, April 11th. Can you do me a favor and try inviting me to the Facebook group one more time but use [email protected] as the email?

Sorry it didn't work again! You should change your facebook email to the UCF one. I cant invite you otherwise. Is there's no "ask to join" option on your end?

By any chance did.they say why it would take the full 8 weeks?!?! Too many applications? Or are they behind? HERES TO HEARING ON FRIDAY!!!!!

Oh and whomever asked about concurrent I was #31 and I asked the guy at seminole state if that was all the applicants they had so far and he said yes. I went the last day at noon

No problem guys!

The lady I spoke to said that they had a lot of applications to review. I was told 440 people applied. But the wait is killing me, hopefully we will hear from them soon!

Ali,

Did you drop yours off at the Oviedo campus? If so, that's great to know! 31 is a low number. I think Altamonte Campus (main nursing campus) had low 100's and Sanford/Lake Mary I haven't heard anything.

They had us sign in

I got off the wait list for the accelerated program, but I denied the spot because I have accepted a spot at USF! Hopefully someone else will get a call for that spot. Good luck everyone!!

let this be the week!!!!!!! I was reading old forums from last years group and they all met up at starbucks in waterford. I think maybe after we hear our acceptances (im trying to stay positive) we should continue the tradition

I think that sounds like a great idea, Ali. I would love to meet everyone, should I get that great acceptance email. :)

This week should definitely be the week. This Saturday makes 8 weeks from the deadline. I got an email this morning and almost died of sudden shock in my half asleep state, but it wasn't it. :(

I agree Ali and Leola! I would definitely love to meet everyone like that! I am trying to be as confident as I can that we will all get our acceptances. And since this week is the week I have been crazily checking my emails everytime my phone buzzes.
