Just to clarify (idk if it matters) for those wait listed I know the cocoa program is not as difficult to receive entry. Also I saw someone say cocoa beach. It's actually in cocoa (haha there's a difference!) I live in that area that's why. Cocoa beach is about 35 mins from the cocoa campus if you head East. I've taken classes at cocoa because brevard community college and UCF have a joint campus at cocoa.

For for wait listed, they also have the cocoa beach and Daytona campuses!!! And that application process opens in the summer I believe. Don't loose hope!!!!!' I was waitlisted spring 2013 for the scc concurrent program. I believe it was cus god had plans for me,

To get into THIS program!

What a blessing in disguise!

I'm in and I will see you guys in the Fall!

This is for all of you who were accepted into the program. Did having all of your prerequisites before the application deadline, you think gave you a better chance at getting into the program? I plan on applying this Aug. before the deadline. But, I'm unsure of taking the last prerequisite needed in the summer, since its only a six week class. I think I rather take it in the Fall. But if it's going to make a difference on whether I get accepted or not, I think I might just take it in the summer. Did any of you, who got admitted, take one last class before the program started?

I had all my prerequisites done & my AA degree before I had applied to the program and was accepted. As long as you have 7/8 of them done before you apply, you should be fine.

I ha all my pre reqs done and my AA as well. I don't want to tell you false info, but I am PRETTY sure if you have them all done, you do have a slightly better chance. But like Mamakate said, you only need 7/8 pre reqs done to apply!

I think they said

That at an info session.

I got in and I'm taking the last pre req right now as a transient at Valencia. So I know as soon as Valencia releases the final grades I need to send my transcripts over to UCF. I'm not sure if it mattered? I had a 4.0 in the pre reqs, I'm pretty sure they just look at the pre-req GPA not the total amount of pre-reqs youve taken at the time you submit the application.

It wouldnt hurt to email an advisor though :)

According to A***n, the only things that they take into consideration when sending out interview invitations are your GPAs (7/8 prereq and cumulative) and TEAS score. Then they add your interview score. I imagine they look at the amount of time remaining, and if there's no possibility of finishing foreign language, general education requirements, etc, then the applicant probably wouldn't get an invitation to begin with. I took 3 humanities and Spanish I & II this Spring and I made it in, so from my perspective, already having an AA or 8/8 completed didn't matter that much.
