Hello there!
I will be applying to UCF's Basic BSN program that starts in the spring of 2015 at the Cocoa and Daytona campuses. The application window is from July 15th to August 16th. Anyone else planning to apply? :)
NurseKnightroCan you tell me about the cost of the first semester? (i.e.- books, tuition, uniforms, other stuff). Thanks
Unfortunately I don't really remember exactly what the total cost was for the first semester
I want to say that for classes alone it was maybe around 2,000$ or so (please don't quote me) uniforms are 49.95$ for each top and for each pant. So that will cost about a minimum of 100 or so. I got 2 sets of each so I didn't have to wash them every day (which came in very useful for me). For textbooks the first semester is the most expensive because some of the books you use for multiple classes, but I don't remember around what is cost, sorry.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
Hello bunch of successful individuals !
I'm concern with the money that the first semester will cost and I have a question:
Is the money covering the tuition and books for the first semester due up front (before you start the semester which means out of pocket) Or the schools takes the money out , after you register for class and from the first semester financial AID and student loans?
Thank you!

So for books, they are separate from tuition. Meaning they give you a book list of what you need and you buy them from wherever you want (yay, Amazon!). I do know that there is a certain due date for the tuition payment (not sure when that is). If you call a transfer advisor they can answer all of your questions! Or Maureen might have your answer! I paid out of pocket so I'm sorry I cant offer you any more answers!

Sarah- I'm going to need a roommate now that I know where I'll be for the next couple of years. I'll private message you my number, just text/call when you're going to be in town and we can meet up.
