HI! I was wondering if anyone heard anything/news/process about UC irvine medical center new grad program for med/surg. Do they do phone interviews? panel interview? emails?

Hi! I just wanted to tell you guys that was offered and accepted a position at UCI med/surg unit. I'm still in shock and very thankful that after 6 months of being unemployed I finally have a job with a GREAT hospital. There's still hope everyone. Good luck!

I was lucky also to get a job offer at UC Irvine and had my PE done today....Im just wondering if you will be working in Med/Surg.

Any one hear anything regarding Clinical Nurse I Neuroscience Step Down Unit? I had the interview on Dec 27, 2011 and haven't hear anything back from them yet.

how did they inform you that you are offered the job? phone or email? is there anything change in your application status?

Hi Banga, I will be working in their medsurg floor 4Tower. I did my PE yesterday. Did you turn in your new hire paper work to HR? I can't wait to start =) Can't wait to meet you.

congratulations in getting an interview. Every department has their own style of how they interview their new hire. Here is what i would recommend: practice your common behavioral questions; practice the common questions such as Why you applied? why they should hire you? Talk about yourself. Research the hospital. Make sure you have a smile in your face when you walk into the room and feel confident about your respond. Practice with someone else so they can give you tips on how you answer your questions.
