I'm surprised no other panel alerted everyone who interviewed of the pause in hiring/freeze.

I too was told to accept offers from outside hospitals because they were unsure if the next cohorts were still getting hired on because of the hiring pause

Nope.. nothing. I had my interview in January. They said I should hear back in roughly 2 weeks, but it's 3 weeks now and nothing. I've been checking my email religiously every day.

Can I ask when your interview was? I interviewed mid Jan and that was never brought up. Hopefully the hiring freeze ended between that time?

I have no update at all! Just "Application Under Review.” Are other people's application just stuck like that?

So far, no changes in status on my end and still "application under review". I emailed the recruiter last week and she did mention that all critical care positions had been filled at this time.

I emailed one of the recruiters requesting an update on the status of this cohort (I.e., whether it will be cancelled). She said she can't actually update me on anything, but that the departments will be reaching out to those who were interviewed. I was interviewed back in mid-December and haven't heard a thing since.
