UC Davis Residency 2024

Nurses Residency

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any updates on the UC Davis 2024 residency? I didn't see a forum. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone have info on the May cohort starting period, and if departments will be interviewing applicants for that start time ?

According to their website the May cohort begins  May 13th but not sure if they are continuing to interview.

Has anyone heard anything about start dates up to this point? I emailed them and they told me they were reviewing info.  It's be almost 5 months since I applied.

Did you already have an interview?  My application was routed to management in December and the status never changed so I emailed the recruiter and they confirmed all positions have been filled. I have friends that went through interviews and felt really good about it and were told they would get follow ups and never did. I'm not sure if the hiring freeze is to blame because it looks like other people did get hired with a Spring start date. But I would say if by this point you haven't heard it's most likely a rejection considering the cohorts start March 18 and May 13 and they hire for them both simultaneously.

Has anyone received updates on start dates yet?

I had an interview and then they sent me an email saying I was a top candidate and wanted references.  They emailed me also apologizing for the delay a few days ago. Just wanted to see if anyone was in the same boat.

Oh, you had an interview! My apologies I thought you were waiting to get an interview. I wish you luck in hearing back!

I also received an email for references and that I was a top candidate. I was told that the hiring for the March cohort was complete. But here's hoping for May 🤞🏻

Wishing you the best! Who told you the cohort was full for March.  What unit was it for?

I spoke to HR directly who said all positions for the March cohort have been filled. I would assume this was for all departments.

Wish I was in the same boat LOL. I was interviewed and never received an email, but when I reached out to the recruiter, she just said I would hear back from the department. Good luck to you!

Has anyone received an interview for ICU or feedback about their application with ICU being the specified department? My application is still showing under review, and not sure who to email or what to do about where my application is at,  meaning if it's been rejected?
