Hi, 

I am planning to apply to the UC Davis nurse residency program this coming November. Just getting prepared for the application period and did not see a forum for this coming period. 

If you have any helpful hints or questions, let's answer them here!! Application open from November 1st - November 8th. Start dates March 14th - May 9th. 

Last week I accepted a Float Pool position for the May start date!! Anyone else accept a May spot yet?

I accepted a May Spot as well, in labor and delivery!

We are a few months out, but I will make a facebook page for May people so if anyone wants to post about living, or really anything we have a spot for it. You can find it by searching "UCD Spring 2022 New Grad Residency - May Cohort"

Has anyone contacted HR or a unit director for an update from any units they interviewed for? I'm wondering which one is more appropriate.

I called HR on Monday and she wasn’t much help at all. But basically said to keep waiting.

I had a time sensitive offer from another hospital, so I ended up emailing both to see where they were in the hiring process. The director responded promptly. I believe if the director is open to questions it is okay to reach out to them directly to know where they are in the hiring process.

Has anyone heard anything from CTICU, PCICU/PICU? I was routed for further consideration about three weeks ago and still have not heard anything. I honestly lost all hope before I found out I had gotten routed because I applied back on November 1st. Also how long did it take for a unit to get back to y’all after you got routed? Not sure if I should give up hope yet or not LOL

Is anyone who accepted a position willing to share their resume or the subjects that they included? I feel like my resume is what’s hindering me when applying. It would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in a similar boat! My application (I didn't specify units in my cover letter) was routed back in december and it's been crickets on my end. I've pretty much lost hope, but I hope you hear something! Best of luck!!

Anyone else still on "Routed for Further Consideration"? My California exam application took forever (the board still has not approved it completely) so the hold has not bothered me too much. I emailed HR today and am awaiting a response. Curious to see if this goes anywhere or if a few applicants were forgotten. It does say this cohort has a start date through May.

I'm still routed and haven't heard anything. I ended up applying again for August 2022. Best of luck to you ?
