UC Davis Nurse Residency Program 2021

Hey everyone,

I didn't see a topic on this but UC Davis has opened up their applications from 9/14 to 9/17 for a December Cohort this year. Has anyone else applied?

That’s great! Did they call or email you? And was it for an interview?

Mine says "routed for further consideration," hope that's a good sign!

They called me to set up an interview and then emailed me all the details.

Congrats! Did you apply for any specific units or did they mention what unit you were interviewing for?

Thank you!! I don’t remember applying for any specific unit, but they called me from Cardiothoracic PCU for the interview. Maybe other units will call at a later time.

Congrats on getting moved forward for an interview! That's exciting! Let us know how it goes. ? Hoping my status changes too soon

Hey everyone,

Mine still says under review last I checked. I emailed one of the talent acquisition coordinators for the nurse residency program to get a timeline for the application process. They said that all offers would need to be accepted by 11/10 for this upcoming cohort. So I’m guessing we should be expecting to hear something in the next few weeks.

Thanks!! Tbh I'm still waiting on my NCLEX date (graduated in August) so I hope I can make it happen by then.

Hi everyone!

I applied on 9/16 and just checked my application status and it changed to "routed for further consideration" as well. I completed my preceptorship on an LDRP unit and specified this on my cover letter. No call to set up an interview, but crossing my fingers this is good news.

I just received a call today for an interview opportunity with the NICU. I had just accepted a NICU offer at another hospital, but seems like they’re still making their calls! Good luck everyone!

Haha I bet we talked to the same person! I also received a call for an interview with the NICU today. Congrats on your job offer at that other hospital! I'm so excited for this opportunity. Just getting an interview feels so great -- at least my application was good enough to get to talk to someone! Now I gotta brush up on my interview skills!

Anyone else get any interview calls? I had marked down preference for other departments as well as NICU so maybe other departments will start sending out interview requests soon.
