What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the status of offers for the float pool program, with some mentioning specific departments that have made offers for the March cohort. There is uncertainty about the hiring process, with some members receiving offers for the May cohort after initial delays due to funding issues. Questions about specific units, preceptorship, housing, and application status for future cohorts are also being raised.

Hello, wanted to started a thread here for the new upcoming cohort with apps starting this November 2024.

Mine only says "received"! Does that imply that it wasn't accepted then?

Wondering that too that's exactly what mine says!

I hope they can provide some updates!

Has ANYONE heard anything? On FB, an internal candidate's application was routed.

My application status just states "Reviewed"... No further details if it was routed or not yet.

Which FB group did you see this in? Curious to follow their updates... thanks!

It was "New Grad RN-Bay Area CA" group.

My application has now updated to routed and I'm an external candidate.

Does it say where it got routed to or what does it say?

Does anyone's status still say application received? It hasn't changed yet so IDK what to expect 😔

Specializes in New Grad.

Mine still says received! They did mention being finished with reviewing applications so I'm hoping that they just didn't update everyone's status. :,)

They don't say where but I precepted in the ER so I'm assuming that's where it was routed since they usually go based off that.

That's Awesome! I precepted in the ED too, that's what I'm hoping for, Application still listed as reviewed though 😕 , we'll see what happens. Did you do clinical at UCD? I'm coming from out of state.
