What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the status of offers for the float pool program, with some mentioning specific departments that have made offers for the March cohort. There is uncertainty about the hiring process, with some members receiving offers for the May cohort after initial delays due to funding issues. Questions about specific units, preceptorship, housing, and application status for future cohorts are also being raised.

Hello, wanted to started a thread here for the new upcoming cohort with apps starting this November 2024.

I haven't had an interview yet. It's still in the routing phase.  But my application I noticed changed statuses late so that could be a reason why.

Has anyone heard from adult ICU?

Has anyone gotten a skills survey/reference check from OR or an offer yet?

Hi, not yet. Have you received anything?

No, no status change either.

Has anyone heard from L&D recently (the last few days), I know they gave out a few offers early in the month. I got a skills survey and haven't heard anything since.

Was wondering if anyone has heard anything from OR or PICU?

Did anyone receive an offer for burn ICU?

Yeah I'm gonna guess if I'm stuck at "routed for further consideration" then I am not going to get an interview.

In a facebook group, someone said they knew of 2 people who got offers from L&D. I don't think they would hire more than 2-3 people at once because it's difficult to onboard them all at the same time and make sure everyone gets the chance to get good learning experiences.
