UC Davis MEPN 2022

Published

Hello everyone!

I'm starting this thread for those interested in applying to UC Davis's Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN), for Summer 2022 entry, to be part of Cohort 7. Hoping this will be a space where everyone can ask questions, connect, give advise and share information. ?

Hello again! I looked at my graduate school application and I noticed that the name of the program, program coordinator email & phone, and degree were removed. Did this happen to any of you? I'm a little worried.

I see all the info still.

The decisions are out. I got waitlisted unfortunately.

Good luck everyone else.

Congrats for those who got in! I got waitlisted but will keep waiting :)

Please keep me updated.

I got in! I might not accept my admission though as there are other schools and factors go into making this decision, but hopefully you all that are waitlisted get off the waitlist! Congrats everyone!

Thank you Joshua. I appreciate that. I wish you all the luck in the world man.

Also waitlisted here! Hoping we all get in ??????

Hey Everyone.

I know today is a tough day for some, but can we share stats.

I have 4 years of health care experience, a 3.62 CUM GPA, 3.78 Pre-Req GPA and I’m also a resident in California.

I currently work in the emergency room, as a emergency department technician and been at this job for more than three years now.

Specializes in Healthcare as an LCSW.

I was accepted, but unsure if I will take the seat.  As other have said, there are other schools to consider and I'm also pregnant... we will see.   Good Luck to those waitlisted and for others that may be sad, know that this is not about your worth.

I appreciate that. Just sucks knowing that I’m on the waitlist. I’m hopeful that we will come off the waitlist and congrats on the acceptance. Very happy for you.

I posted a quick overview of my stats on the first page months back.  I loved working in the ER btw, I worked at the busiest one in the nation for a while.

The ER is a enjoyable setting. It’s fast paced and if you have good co-workers it’s pleasant. I enjoy where I’m right now. I was hoping to get in to finally work as an ER Nurse.
