  1. Hi all just wanted to say I deferred due to being 7months pregnant … whoever gets this years spot.. do well! And for everyone else best of luck!
  2. I posted a quick overview of my stats on the first page months back. I loved working in the ER btw, I worked at the busiest one in the nation for a while.
  3. I was accepted, but unsure if I will take the seat. As other have said, there are other schools to consider and I'm also pregnant... we will see. Good Luck to those waitlisted and for others that may be sad, know that this is not about your worth.
  4. I got accepted! For those of you waitlisted I will most likely need to defer unless everyone wants to see a live birth in class during the first month ? Cool medical experience though right?
  5. I heard that due to the pandemic, they had moved the first 6months online in a previous cohort. Are current cohorts back to full time on campus?
  6. Congratulations… I got the same email!
  7. As far as I know there are no info sessions, when you go to the webpage for the program it asks you to watch the video instead. There is also less traffic on this thread then the previous year. its basically been a ghost town.
  8. I live in San Francisco so would relocate my whole family :)
  9. You will not find it unless you are on applications for Summer 2022, you will need to make sure your in that version of the applications. Read the fine print to the left before signing in or start from the beginning and select the correct semester you plan on attending.
  10. I have over a decade in healthcare and have worked in about every setting, I’m an LCSW, earned a Masters of Science in Social Work, Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Sociology, 3.92 overall GPA and I’m published in a medical journal.
  11. I know there hasn’t been much activity on this post. I am so excited, my application is in. Wishing you all the very best and hoping to hear from those applying.
  12. Hello All, My application is ready, I have three of the four references completed already. This has been a long time coming for me. I have over a decade in healthcare working in pretty much every setting and a high GPA. It took me almost two years to apply, last year I was short one prerequisite when October rolled around... sooo lets do this! Good luck everyone ? Hope to see you all in the classroom or in the field.
  13. Hello, I am unable to locate the application on NursingCAS, per UC Davis website it states "Applications open each year by mid-August and close at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time) Nov. 1." Is it too soon to apply and this is why I can not see the application?
  14. Hello all, I wasn’t able to apply last year. I have everything in order now for 2022. My question is about NursingCAS, I can only find UCDavis DNP program. Do I need to wait til August to locate the MEPN program? I even checked past programs and there is nothing showing for MEPN. I asked NursingCAS and they said, we don’t see a MEPN program haha .. yep me either! I wanted to start writing my SOP and get an idea of what to write. Also has a MEPN 2022 been started yet?
  15. Thank you for sending the link, I was looking at this: https://budget.ucdavis.edu/student-resources/tuition-fees/graduate what a big difference! This would be on PAR with my first masters degree it was like $80K back in the day so makes more sense, but I think its more than Hawaii which I was looking at as well.
