UC Davis MEPN 2022

Hello everyone!

I'm starting this thread for those interested in applying to UC Davis's Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN), for Summer 2022 entry, to be part of Cohort 7. Hoping this will be a space where everyone can ask questions, connect, give advise and share information. ?

Thanks for letting me know. On NursingCAS, all of my LOR and transcripts are received and verified. I was skeptical of the UC Davis Grad Apps status since they still say "awaiting" on my transcripts but I had no changes to my transcripts since uploading on NursingCAS so I figured those status should change once they upload the transcripts from NursingCAS onto UC Davis grad apps. According to the instructions, this should all be automatic and uploaded internally by the school- hopefully I am right in that interpretation!

Why is this thread so dead LOL? Maybe a lot of people did not apply this cohort?

Yeah I did. Im checking my email everyday like a crazy person. I just want to hear back already.

They emailed me and said it’s going to be late February or possibly sooner.

Hello Everyone!

Are there any changes with the application checklist status? Mine still says "awaiting". Also, I reached out to Alumni/Alumnae and they mentioned that once the first acceptance comes out, you're nearly guaranteed a spot. It's not 100 percent but nearly. Though, this makes me a little nervous because I don't know how they will assess our second application when the only difference is the additional essay.

Mine still says awaiting as well. Those 2 to 3 weeks sure are taking a long time to upload.

I got an email today saying that we'll hear back mid February!

I also wonder how they assess the candidates on the second round given the only difference is an essay and resume. But it does bring me some comfort to hear that the first acceptance can be promising news! :)

I’m so happy to hear this but in past threads there were a lot of people who were waitlisted and did not get in the second round. I also saw that there were a ton of people who didn’t get in the first round. I honestly did just a resume and it was very basic.

What are you guys waiting for? For the transcripts to be received? Mine says received

My transcripts still say awaiting but I also didn't have any changes or updates to them

 

I can't wait until mid-Feb ?
