UC Davis MEPN 2018

Just wondering if anyone is applying for the Fall 2018 UCD MEPN program! And if anyone knows how many applicants they have/ get in?

Hi Everyone!

I am in Cohort 2 in the MEPN program at UC Davis. I am about 4 months into the program and it has been awesome so far! I remember waiting for my admission for what felt like forever! To my knowledge, they are accepting 48 applicants for Cohort 3 from an applicant pool of roughly 200 applications. I received the email for the second round of applications at the end of November and then again in January for the final acceptance. I'm excited for everyone applying and wish everyone the best of luck :)

Thanks for the insight. This month seems soooo long. Lots of luck to us all. Anyone from outside of California applying to this program? Wonder if all 200 applicants are locals...

I just got the email too!! Does anyone know to how many applicants they narrowed it down to or was it just whoever satisfied the requirements were invited to complete the second portion of the application process? Congrats to everyone who was invited for the second round!

I'm not sure about how many, but the email made it seem like not many get the email. Let's hope for the best! Good luck to everyone!

I just got my email for invitation too! Supposedly they selected 200 of us to move forward with the next round, and from reading the previous threads it seems like we might hear back as early as the end of January. When I emailed UC Davis several months ago I asked about interviews and they stated that there would be no interview for the current application cycle.

To @Lfletcher1 and @GiftedNurse22, congratulations and thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate any tips or advice you can share with us. What I'm stressing about most again is the Statement of Purpose. It seems like it's asking the same thing from when we first applied. Was it the same for you?

Has anyone tried to create an account yet to apply to the graduate studies? I clicked on the link that the email had, proceeded to the apply now button, and then it took me to this page that looks weird. [/img] and I'm not sure how to proceed.

Anyone get this same thing?
