UBC BSN September 2017

Hi Everyone!

I've been searching for a thread for applicants to UBC's BScN program for September 2017, but I haven't found one. Please feel free to point me in the direction of an existing thread, or add to this one! I'm applying to UBC, U of T, and UWO for September, but UBC is definitely my first choice. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Hey @ceg7245 and @switzybug, we won't hear the update until June 15th. I called and asked when we will hear about the reserve list and that's what she told me. She said they will start sending emails around June 15th. From previous year threads, looks like they usually send the update ~a week after June 15th. I guess we'll find out soon.

I was curious to know if people were declining offers ahead of the deadline would they be sending out to reserve list. Getting nervous for the 15th, trying very hard to stay optimistic

Yeah, I was wondering if they would start send the emails to people who are waiting but no. Even though there are people who might have declined before June 15th, she said they wouldn't know until 15th how many people actually declined. So we have to wait until June 15th or for later date for them to send the update.

Actually never mind! I was number 19 on the reserve list and just got an offer today!!!! I hope @ceg7245 and @switzybug also get an offer soon!

Hey guys, did anyone else receive an email from Ruxandra stating that there was a possibility of more seats being opened up (and to let her know if you're still interested in the program)? Not sure if it's sent to everyone who was initially rejected or those with a higher probability of being accepted (?). Either way, congrats to everyone who made it and to those who will possibly get accepted following Ruxandra's recent email.

I received the same email and was wondering the same thing. I asked how long it would take to hear and was told it would be in the next couple of weeks.
