UALR RN Program Applicant 2015

Published

I just wanted to see who else will be applying for this year? I'm already excited to start classes next week for the last of my pre reqs. I just finished 12.5 years in the Air Force so I have 60 hours of college completed before joining. If anyone else is in A&P I or Micro with me let me know. I look forward to this year in many ways.

All of mine are PDF as well... When I click on "select files" its not opening anything up for me to select. Am I doing anything wrong?

When you guys were talking about your gpa was that your overall gpa or your prerequisite gpa?

That's how I did it too. Idk why it's not working. I'd call them tomorrow about it though.

I figured it out thank you so much!!

So I've figured out that I have 92.9 quality points in my prerequisite courses with 27.2 gpa hours. So that gives me prerequisite gpa of 3.42. Do you think this is good enough to get into ualr nursing program?

I bet it is. My pre req gpa is a 3.48 so let's hope so! They also said in the advising session the more prerequisites you have the better your chance too.

I'm in the program currently and I had about 96 quality points and a 3.5 gpa and I got an acceptance letter on the first round they sent them out. Your gpa and quality points sound similar to mine so I'm sure you will get in.

Thanks for the encouragement and reassurance :)

Hello!

I sent in my application for the RN program on January 5th- the day it came out I do believe (I'm obviously very eager lol). I'm a sophomore at UCA and I'm currently enrolled in Structure and Function I, which is the equivalent of A&P I. It's the last pre-req I have to complete. I have been a nervous wreck lately because the suspense of waiting for a letter is killing me! I sent in my application with a GPA right at 3.0 which sort of scares me; when I talked to my advisor, she made me feel like my GPA was just fine, but I don't know...if I pull off an A in Structure and Function, I'll have a 3.14 GPA. My advisor told me that 300-400 people send in applications, and they accept 200 on average. I'm sort of just spewing random things out at this point hahah. Anyway, I am SO incredibly nervous but it is so awesome to find others applying to the program. Best of luck to you all!!

It is SUCH a long wait! The suspense is honestly killing me. Hope all goes well for you :)

Good luck to everyone! Ladyvp05 do you know what the earliest time was to be notified by admissions?
