Hello,
First Happy New Year to everyone, UALR Nursing application opened today. I created this thread for 2021 applicants, Let us know which program you applied to and any other relevant information. With Covid going on does anyone know if this will delay results? Whats your GPA? Are you applying to Baptist or UAMS as well? In previous forums they were notified in March after or before Spring break. Lets stay connected, I hope everyone is accepted into their selected program of choice.
At UALR the Student to RN is 24 months, they have an accelerated option that is 18 months that will be offered after the first semester. UALR is Student to RN (AAS) plus another 12-18 months for BSN so for the BSN from UALR it would be anywhere from 2.5 years to 3.5 years. UAMS is simply 2 years for your BSN. UALR's accelerated program is not longer classes or days, you just go the second Summer when traditional students do not. However, if you are already an LPN or Paramedic you can finish in 12 months. Hope this helps!

We sit for the NCLEX next Summer. I'm also curious about grading sale. In my experience it is usually that anything below 75 is a Fail. 75-84 is C, 85-94 B, and 95-100 A.

I saw the schedule on their website if I find it again I’ll link it. But it’s like three classes one Summer vs the two classes traditional students get. I have a friend that went to a different program and they are still meeting for class. I’m not sure if she was given the option for online.
