  1. Hello, everyone! I did not see a thread for 2021 UAMS BSN applicants on here, so I thought I would create one. I had my interview this week, and although I think it went well I will be anxiously awaiting my official letter of acceptance/rejection. The most recent email I received said we should all know by mid-April. Has anyone else had their interview? How did it go? FYI, I have a 3.8 prerequisite GPA and an 80% on TEAS. I also applied to UALR, but UAMS is definitely my top choice. I don't know if any other applicants are on this website, but if you are I look forward to meeting you! Good luck!
  2. It is my understanding that we will finish our associates in nursing next Summer (so 12 months) with the option to complete another 12 months to complete the BSN. We sit for the NCLEX next Summer. I'm also curious about grading sale. In my experience it is usually that anything below 75 is a Fail. 75-84 is C, 85-94 B, and 95-100 A.
  3. Hello! I applied to UALR, and also UAMS. I have a 3.8GPA and an 80% on my TEAS test which I took for UAMS. UAMS is my top choice, but I would certainly be happy at UALR. It would be nice to be a licensed RN in one year, instead of two!! To answer questions above regarding Accelerated/Traditional, it was my understanding that things had changed and that we would all be applying for the same program. But who knows? For those of you that also applied to UAMS, have you seen a thread about that? If not, I will make one! Good luck, everyone!
