U.S.A. Arkansas

Published

Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

I got my acceptance letter for the traditional program yesterday as well... I'm soo happy and I can relax my nerves for a while before school starts. The last day to accept or decline is April 8 @12pm. I wish everyone that got their letters Good luck and congratulations and those that are still waiting for their letters, keep checking ur email, spam and trash (lol í ½í¸‚cos I saw the acceptance email in my trash folder I would have missed the deadline) We can do this!!! just keep on believing. Hoping to see you all at orientation (April 30) and don't forget ur passport Photo.

I got my acceptance letter yesterday as well! I'm glad the wait is over! :)

This is driving me crazy. I hope my application is not messed up. I had everything turned in way before the deadline and conformation I was enrolled. I currently lack two classes for my Pre Req. Taking 3 right now. Over all GPA for all Pre Req is 4.0 and I'm holding a 4.0 in my current classes being taken at UALR. My two classes left will be A&P II, and Microbiology. But I'm seeing friends that still need the same classes with GPA's in the low 3's getting emails they were accepted. Do you think they may of started from the bottom and working their way to the Top GPA wise? I guess at least No news is good news. Just going nuts wondering how a person with a 3.2 needing the same exact classes still is getting an Email and I have not. I sure hope I don't get waitlisted. Any ideas?

Idk how they're doing it but it must be the ones that got their applications in the earliest that are first. I filled mines out the last week of February and haven't gotten anything. I'm hoping sometime this week or next. They still have until April 15th the website said.

I submitted my application on the very first day - January 5th and still haven't heard anything.

Wow, In that case Idk how their doing it. Just keep checking your E-mail. We will get in eventually. We haven't gotten a waitlist or rejection....so look at that as a good thing and that good news is on the way.

This is just a complete guess but maybe they send out letters in the order of our T numbers..?

That could be possible since the gpa ranking and the date you guys turned in your application doesn't make sense with how the applications have been going out. Just try not to sweat it...your acceptances will probably come soon especially if you know you did everything correctly. @Midnight 302: I think if I were you I'd call and ask if they did in fact receive your application. Also, after you applied did you get the e-mail where they asked you to send an actual paper copy of your application to the school? Also check your e-mail junk/trash/spam folder and make certain you didn't receive a letter. Also, did you say that you are still taking three pre-reqs with two more to go? I'm not saying that this is true in your case, but a lot of times they like to accept people with two or fewer pre-reqs left in progress. Some people do get in with maybe one left though. Like I said, don't get carried away with this idea, it may not even apply to you but it's just something to think about.

For those that got accepted was it sent to your UALR email account? Because I'm wondering how does it end up in the spasm or trash.

I didn't actually have that problem. I got my acceptance letter at the same e-mail address that I gave UALR on my application. Another girl on here though found her acceptance letter in her junk/ trash folder though. So it's never a bad idea to look.

I received my acceptance letter through the e-mail I provided plus my UALR e-mail account.

Dumb question but I'm not a UALR student yet so I was wondering a) how we find our e-mail address and b) how we log in?
