UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Published

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

girl... I understand. It’s a lot to handle.

We also have to get a passport ID.

Just a lot in such little time...

hope we know something soon

Me to you mean the nursing I'd. They should give us that during orientation if we get in

You don’t need the ualr patch on scrubs till fall. Passport photos we’re pretty cheap at Walmart. Be prepared that a 40.00 fee is due the second week of classes for a testing platform and a 360.00 dollar fee for another testing platform is due June 13th. Scrubs have to be Cherokee brand and pewter grey other than that your free to pick the style. You can save money on textbooks with free pdf versions of two of the textbooks on previous class groups Facebook page. Hope this helps with the short planning and good luck. Hope to see you all next week!

Fee? What’s the testing platform?

And that’s not covered with the money we have to pay for the first day of classes. That covers all our classes for the summer? That fee not including in that? And the books? It’s on a Facebook page? Sorry for all the questions

I believe it’s how we will take our tests and no it is not covered by tuition. I’m a Gi Bill student and they will not cover it either. The 360 dollars is due twice during the entire program. You can buy textbooks from the school or textbook corner but there is a ualr nursing class 2019/2020 Facebook page that has a free pdf download if your ok with digital books to save money.

Ah! Well thank you for the info!

Hopefully they will send out the emails this afternoon and tomorrow

I didn’t apply to any other schools just UALR. Thank you for the info about when we should hear something and all the info about what we need.
