UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

Ik right I'm just gonna try Baptist there having there teas test Wednesday for free and its usually 85 dollars and you only need a 60% on it preferred 65% and you have til June 1st to apply

I was waitlisted and received a rejection letter as well today. I am super upset concluding my advisor told me I would just need the A&P I and College Algebra this semester to be considered. I took them at UALR this semester and passed. My pre requisite GPA is a 3.0. I am lacking A&P 2 and Chemistry. I got my Bachelors at UCA and have all the other pre reqs completes but, some of the sciences would not count at UALR for Nursing. Anyways, I seen on a Facebook post a student got accepted and said they need to take A&P I due to the fact it was taken too long ago. Makes no sense and I have also heard of students getting in with way lower pre req GPAS. Anyways I am going to Baptist and will be taking the same exam for the TEAS May 31. Sorry for the long post but I agree with you guys!

I got the same email from Baptist luckily and she said they extended the dates and can do May 31! So I am praying for good luck with them. ?

I’m taking the test at baptist as well!

I know they accept until June 1st. But many people already been accepted and I hope they are still considering more... and It’s not filled up

When does baptist start? Is that for rn or pn?

I got the email for free exam as well! But not one for the 31st. I see one for May 24th and 29th.

They should still be we have till the 1st to get everything turned in.
