UAB/South Alabama fall 2011

Has anybody received any news from either UAB or South Alabama for Fall 2011, I applied for this past summer and I was told by South Alabama the program was full so to increase my chances, I applied for UAB and USA this fall. I am not sure if there is anything I need to do, my overall GPA is 3.2, I am not sure if I have a chance in any MSN programs. I will take all the advise and pointers I can get. Please help. !!!

There is another thread at Specialty tab under Nurse Practioner. BTW USA sent acceptance emails out and sending followup letters out also. Good luck to all!:yeah:

I still have not heard anything yet from either school. When I check on my application status, it still says in department for review. Hopefully they will let us know soon. Good luck!

I applied to both UAB and USA for FALL2011 FNP program i received my acceptance today from USA but i want to hold out until i hear back from UAB does any body know when UAB acceptance letters will be goin out? i also did the GRE waiver and havent heard anything about that either. I really hope to hear something by the end of the month *stressing*:banghead:

Strange, got an email that said someone posted, "I got my letter from UAB last night! :-D I think my mailman is more relieved than I am."

So, I called UAB just to find out the status of my application and to follow up.

They told me they hadn't sent any letters out regarding admissions to the Fall 2011 program for the Graduate program.

Though, they have for the undergraduate.

Clarification? Anyone got a letter yet? Strange that it would be so soon after the application deadline.

Goodluck! I'm about as nerve-wrecked as anyone right now!

I've been out of the country, and still am until june 8th. I've been having a friend check the. Mail a d text me everyday. I checked my application status at USA and it changed yesterday to accepted...:))) I'm sure a letter will follow soon. I'm still waiting on a response from jab too!

same thing happend to me but when I checked the message wasn't there.....when u called Uab did they say when they would be making decisions at all

UAB said the board was meeting next week and we would know by the first week in July...

Oh my! they are my last hope, I saw a post about last 60 for GPA calculation, if that is the case then, I may stand the chance. I took adv patho this past spring and made a A so hopefully they will take it all into consideration. I am praying very hard to get in. Getting bald from stress!!:sstrs:
