UAB MSN Summer 2019

Hello ALL!

I wanted to start a feed for UAB NP Summer 2019 aspiring students! I thought this would be a great way for us to stay connected and help eliminate the anxiety while we wait.

The deadline is approaching and my nerves are sooooo bad right now. SO, who's with me??? Anyone?? :-)

Mine says same thing. Letter in mail. Can't make a blazer Id....

I got the same thing. My Friend who is in the program now got that same message when she applied so there's no telling if it's good or bad.

I was able to make a blazer ID this morning. Let's hope this is a good sign!

What track did you apply to? Also what was your GPA/ experience if you don't mind me asking

Might not be as good of a sign as I thought. I applied to UAB way back as an undergrad but went to a different school. My buddy that also applied to UAB as an undergrad but went to the same school as me could find his student ID too. Guess I'll just wait for the letter either way.

Damn. Idk. I have holds on my account from nursing for a drug screen/background check and some other forms. Had to do all that crap at USA. But it has me listed as undergrad on my account which I never did go to UAB as an undergrad. That's from 2008 when I applied out of high school lol. Maybe it updates after you accept a position if offered? Those holds are from November of this year. We'll hope it's good haha. If not I got my seat back at USA so grad school will proceed. I applied to the adult acute care NP program. I had a 3.5 for my nursing classes. I've been in ICU for 3 and a half years. One of the threads from last year said on that page about them sending us a letter there is a spot to accept or reject an offer on the bottom right. I didn't see that but I've only been on my phone. Might change in the full computer format? Oh they sent letters yesterday so either way we'll know soon. I was asking about an address change since I'm leaving soon to travel nurse in Seattle and this lady told me.

Anybody have access to Blazernet yet that has never been affiliated with UAB?

I don't, but from reading posts from previous semesters it seems like that isn't necessarily a reliable way to tell if you're accepted or not.

Has anyone received their letter today? My mail just came but with no letter. I'm only 30minutes out from Birmingham so I thought it would come today. I'm going crazy!
