UAB MSN Summer 2019

Hello ALL!

I wanted to start a feed for UAB NP Summer 2019 aspiring students! I thought this would be a great way for us to stay connected and help eliminate the anxiety while we wait.

The deadline is approaching and my nerves are sooooo bad right now. SO, who's with me??? Anyone?? :-)

I am also applying for summer 2019 FNP. This is my second time around. I didn't get in for Fall 2018 and they sent me a letter to revise my essay and resubmit for Summer. Ahhhhh.

I do! I have been out of school for a very long time so I really struggled with the essay. It was definitely better this time around. Good luck to you! Which program did you apply to?

I applied for the dual primary and acute pediatric NP. Super nervous because I REALLY want in and there aren't many of the dual programs out there

I applied to start in the summer too. I applied before about a year ago or so and also got sent a letter saying to revise my essay and move my app to the next semester. I started at USA in Mobile though in the fall of last year since I was accepted there. Took 2 classes and decided to take a year off to do travel nursing. Traveling has been great. I got my seat back to start at USA in May but figured why not shoot for UAB one more time since that's where I really want to go. Grad school wasn't too bad. Just managing time to write papers and study. You will have to say no to stuff. I'm sure once clinical starts I'll think differently.
