Is anyone applying for Fall 2015 NP admission at UAB? I can't seem to find a thread on it and the deadline is very soon! I am applying for the adult-gero NP program.

Anyone who applied for Family had any changes to their Blazernet?

I can't speak to that but judging by previous threads, they seem to update Blazernet in waves so if you don't see any updates, don't lose hope :)

I just checked and I am in for pediatric nurse practitioner. It was my seond choice (fnp was my first). A little disappointed but still glad that I got in!

Is everyone that is able to see their concentration already UAB students or employees? I'm just curious as I am unable to create a blazernet id and did not know if I should be discouraged or not.

I logged into Blazernet and listed under concentration is Family Nurse Practitioner! My first choice! :D

I was a student before and I am an employee at UAB hospital

KatRNBSN2014 do mind telling me your stats for getting in? Im wondering if I didnt get FNP because of my grades or because all of my expeirence is in pediatrics.

Hi! I graduated with my BSN in 2009. I have 6 months of med-surg experience and 5 years of ER experience and I got into the ACNP program. My GPA was a 3.6. It might be because you only have peds experience and family is across the lifespan? I hope that helps!

I haven't received a letter, but was able to log into Blazernet last night and it shows holds on my account and an advisor. I'm scared to tell my family for fear that this isn't enough confirmation.

I am not an employee or student and I was able to login and see my holds and advisor.
