I was accepted to the FNP track. I got my letter in the mail yesterday as well.

Congrats everyone! Yeah, I'm not sure how to feel either. There is a lot to plan for financially and with work schedules in a short amount of time! Excited and nervous at the same time!

I just got an email from USA saying I was accepted and to expect the official packet in the mail by July 8th! Good luck to everyone!

Thanks! I sure hope so! I didnt get in at UAB so that has me worried. I emailed congrad about when we might hear about decisions and they told me they hope to have letters sent out within the next couple of weeks.

Got my rejection letter. Too many applicants and not enough spots. I had a 3.8 GPA, 4 years ER experience and applied to the FNP track. Good luck to everyone that got in. I will be waiting on USA and Bama. Congrats to everyone!

I applied to the FNP track for Fall 2015 admission! Impatiently waiting! From past threads it seems like it can take a while to find out anything. My overall GPA is 3.8 but NursingCAS calculated it at a 3.62. I have 4 years of nursing experience and almost 3.5 of that is in the ER, the rest is a few months on a step down unit and my new position I started a couple months ago in PACU. Really hoping I have a chance!

I'm guessing I should be receiving my rejection letter Monday. No packet here and I'm only an hour away from Bham. Still not sure why but I guess I will wait on the other schools...

I talked to student affairs today and the lady told me letters were mailed out yesterday and that I could expect to receive mine tomorrow or Monday. I live in northeast Alabama. So we will see in a few days I guess.

Yeah I'm right there with ya! I have additional certifications and honors so I'm just being paranoid now. You're exactly right, it's all in God's timing! Just discouraging. I will definitely check into Samford's program. I also applied to USA but don't expect to hear from them til late May/early June. Hopefully we will hear some good news by the end of the week! Yeah I attended UAB as well and made all As and some Bs. My overall GPA is a 3.8 like I said. I also had a masters prepared nurse from UAB proof my paper so I'm baffled. Maybe I'm just losing hope too fast. I will definitely want to know why if I don't get in to help me in the future.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's just taking some time to get everyone in.
