Hi all! As I researched UAB'S AMNP Program, I saw a lot of past threads on their experience while applying for the program. I decided to create one for those hoping to get accepted to the program for the Spring 2023 Cohort. I'm planning to submit my application within the next few weeks to meet their priority deadline. Hey everyone! I am so glad I found this thread. I applied for the priority deadline a few week ago and got accepted! Good luck to everyone still in the application and interview process! I am starting to look into apartments and would love some insight on where may be a good place to live in the area from former applicants or those who know the area well. Good luck to all again, and I can't wait to meet everyone in January!

Congratulations on your acceptance!! I also got accepted and am looking for accommodation options. How has your search been going?

HI! Congratulations to you as well! I have just been looking at apartments close to campus recently. There seems to be a lot of good options!

Thank you! Yeah I've looked into those too and they look pretty good. I've also been looking into the Homewood and Vestavia Hills areas cause I've heard they're safer and they're not too far from campus. I'm so excited!

Hey y'all! I applied for early admission but was told I'd be looked at for the regular deadline. Is anyone else in this boat? I cannot believe September 6th is so close!

Hey I applied to the regular deadline ! Any idea on why you were told you will be looked at for the regular deadline? Have you completed all of your prereqs?

I was taking my last class (Nutrition) this Summer and she told me they only reserve a small number of spots for early admission and it was very competitive. That’s all I know.

Typically about 3 weeks to receive an email

Hi, has any one received any email from UAB so far? from the past cohort some people received "save the date" some received email about possible scholarship.

I got an email update about the application cycle this past week. They said that interview selection decisions will be made no later than mid October.
