UAB AMNP Cohort 2018 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I created this discussion for those of us who are applying to the AMNP program for 2018 to ask questions, share information, etc.

I'm currently applying for the 2019 cohort! So excited that I've been offered a Interview for Nov 1st! Anyone who was admitted last year have any advice for the interview? Or a general overview of what type of questions they asked?

Last year feels so long ago, but from what I remember, they'll ask you questions about why you chose nursing, what in your background prepares you for nursing, why UAB, etc. I remember only have two faculty members asking me questions, then the directors asked if I understood the rigor of the program (because it is fast paced). \

Just relax and be yourself. Don't make the interview more serious than it needs to be.
