UA MEPN 2018

Hey everyone! I know the application deadline is a ways off, but I just wanted to get a forum started for those of us who plan on applying to the MEPN program for 2018! I have all my prerequisites finished and just have to take the HESI. I already took the TEAS for some other schools and scored very well, so I'm not too concerned about HESI as I hear it is a much easier exam without any science content required by UA. Has anyone already taken it? What did you think and how did you prepare? My last 60 units GPA is a 3.80 and my prerequisite GPA is a 3.96. I'm a little nervous about the interview as I have heard in the past it is very short- about ten minutes of talking time. I'll have to figure out how to eloquently but succinctly express my preparation for nursing school and interest in the field. Good luck everyone!!

Does anyone have any idea when we may hear about interviews? It seems like last year it took about 2 weeks to hear back. Crossing my fingers and trying to wait patiently!

Those of you that are out of state, how will you go about obtaining fingerprint clearance if offered an interview? Is there a specific number we need to call to receive an application to take to our local police department?

Go to the Arizona Dept. of Public safety site and find the card processing number to call and ask them to send you a packet. We'll have to get our prints done with our local police departments and mail in the card+fees

According to last year cohort it seems as if applicants received their email invite for interviews the first Saturday in February. I'm am praying for everyone and myself. What's meant for you will be! Good luck and God bless! :)

I just reviewed last years forum and it looks to me as though it was Friday that emails were sent out. I hope that's true because the anticipation is killing me! Good luck everyone!

I looked it up as well and have been obsessively checking my email every 15 min. I sure hope they notify us tomorrow, because I'm completely non-functional right now.
