Thank you for sharing your experience.
How were you performing in UWORLD? Did you finish all the questions? I wanna know coz I've been out from school for 9 years now and it is tough to review.I am currently performing 40-50's on an average but got 2 really low scores 36 & 38%.

It was difficult to me, I made sure I tried to do 75 questions a day and split it into 25 at a time. Some days I did no questions.

I scored an overall average for 57 percent.

My lowest score was probably 39 percent, scored that one time. Highest score 80 percent.

My first assessment test I scored a 68/69 percent with a very high chance of passing.

My second assessment test I scored 61 percent with a very high chance of passing.

I think you should take a refresher course like Mark Klimek. Toot RN I heard does one as well.

Congratulations..

Passing the NclexRN is one of the biggest happiness in life.

I want that moment when i can say i pass the nclex RN . I. Did the kaplan questions and now i m doing the nclex RN mastery application.

But the questions seem very hard in NCLEX-RN mastery application.

I m very anxious. Sometimes cry

They say go for 60 percent.

Personally I've been having my theories on Uworld. Not sure if it's true but it's just my observation. I have used Uworld and Kaplan. I always felt that Uworld is not good, their rationales and questions are one of the worst i have ever seen. Personally Kaplan was the closest in question form. And if you really understand and study their rationales, you will 100 percent pass. I did Kaplan solely - and I passed in one hour, 75 questions. I came out of that test center feeling it was the Easiest test in the world. Now the issue is that I always see these accounts on allnursss raving of how great they are. Sometime soon I would go to their page, and notice that all their posts and threads are just about Uworld, and how great they are. I noticed a pattern -- that most (not all) of these users who dedicate their time overselling Uworld, tend to post only Uworld information and in many times, never use the account after months. Some of these accounts even go far as to say Kaplan never worked for them, and that Uworld is the best. Shrugs. To me, it seems like the owner or some workers of Uworld make fake accounts to boost and advertise their program. Shrugs. You can take my observations at whatever value but personally I say stick with Kaplan.

I wouldn't put it past them. But then again this thread is titled "U World." Which is probably why everyone is talking about U World on here.

Were you consistent on all of your scores when you were taking the uworld test? Just wondering coz I am fluctuating with the test I got 36 & 38% to 52% and 40 plus on majority.

Thank you, its such a wonderful relief! To answer your question, at first my scores were kinda all over the place. I only took tests that were 75 Q's long. The lowest I got was a 53% and it stayed between that and 60% for the first week. Then the second week I started getting above 60%, all the way up to 68%. It takes awhile to understand what the questions are looking for by asking what they are, but once you understand that, your scores will improve. I also used the Kaplan Decision Tree for "which client to see first" type of questions, that was really helpful.

I have a Kaplan book as well, but I tried to do some practice tests on it. Kept getting 80 percent on it.

It didn't seem as challenging as UWORLD to me.

However I used some question taking tips from Kaplan. It really just reinforced what I already knew.
