Hello!!!!! I created this forum of all of us that will be grinding hard at LSON for the fall.. so whenever there's questions or comments , we could always ask each other.... feel free to post updates, questions, etc........ Good luck everyone!!!!!

Paid off a credit card today, one more to go. My goal is to be debt-free by August 15th in time to quit my job.

Does anyone have prereqs they're still working on? I have to finish Eng 2 in the first Summer session and I have a couple of Gen Eds left also.

question. If the non accelerated program is 5 semesters does that include summers? Trying to figure out when I will graduate...Anyone know? Thanks.

I spoke with them about this and it depends on several factors. First of all you have to have all your gen eds completed in order to be able to take NURS classes during the summer. Second you have to have a good GPA in order to show you'd be able to handle the accelerated nature of summer classes. And lastly they have to have the classes/professors available during the summer.

I second the Facebook page idea! There is the U of M general nursing group (should come up if you list nursing as your major) but it's for students in all classes. It would be great to have a page for our specific group!

Also, we should be graduating in summer '16 - 4 semesters of clinicals, one Summer session of preceptorship. :) (though I think you can choose to wait til fall to do the last semester.)
