U of D Mercy McAuley School of Nursing

Hey there folks,

I'm transfering from Madonna to U of D this fall. Is there anyone here that attends McAuley School of Nursing. Do they have a wait list? How's campus life? And are their requirments really hard? Of course I've tried to find out as much as possible on their website. I have applied online and will send my official transcripts from Madonna this week. I have spoken to one of the admissions counselors, of course they don't tell you to much because they want you to transfer. Also if anyone is recieving financial aid and attending this program, does your aid cover your total expenses. I know they are very pricey ($6k) per semester. Any info is much appreciated.

Hey I'm going to their information meeting on the 15 of May @ 5 pm, maybe you should attend one and get more information. Good Luck!!

The cost starts at 11k (going up in the fall, groan). There is alot of financial aid available. I ended up having to come up with about 6k/semester.

This is a fantastic school hope to welcome you aboard!

They there thanks for the info. I also recieve financial aide. I have another question I hope not to personal. How much do you recieve in Financial aide. I'm curious as to how much my aide will cover. Hopefully I don't have to come up with 6k per semester, if so I'll have to stay at Madonna.:idea:

May I ask why you are trasnferring from Madonna? I'm considering applying to their program. Just curious... Thanks and Good Luck. Any info is appreciated.

From what I hear both schools are good. They are both accredited by the NLN (National Licensed Nursing) or CCNE the big two in accreditiations.
