This is for anyone who has applied to the Degree Holder Route at U of C. I just wanted to let people know that if they have transcripts that still haven't been ordered from an Alberta Institution (through ApplyAlberta), give the admissions office a call (403-210-7625) and have them request it to be sent.
I was checking myuc everyday waiting to see if my transcript from Athabasca had been ordered and it still hadn't. I called admissions and the man told me he had to put a request for it to be ordered from Athabasca.... good thing I called or else they might not have ordered it in time for the Sept 30 deadline!
I finally picked up the phone and called the admission office. They changed my status to completed a few seconds later lol... Seems like phone still speaks louder than Email does:p
Hey all, I'm actually applying for the transfer route but can't seem to find a current thread for it so hope I am welcome here, haha! I applied right when applications opened (early july) and I too had the dreaded "official document not received" status for what seems like forever, until I took the tip from this thread and called the admissions office about a week and a half ago and they actually ordered my transcripts. I'm really hoping the last-minute ordering will not affect my chances even though I applied on time.

So this is not a super important update, but I finally broke down and emailed the Nursing admissions officer (i.e. the person from the faculty, not in Enrolment), and she replied with the following:
We have not yet started to review any applications in Nursing as I was away for three weeks.There will be a decision on your file by the beginning of October.

So for those of us whose applications are stuck in limbo awaiting Faculty decision, maybe we'll know by this time next week!
