U of Arizona MEPN 2023

Hey everyone!

Did anyone apply to the University of Arizona MEPN program for next Summer's cohort cycle? The waiting game is already killing me!

I was reading on the forum from the previous year and some didn't hear back until Feb 25th ?

I was really hoping we would hear back today or tomorrow! Seeing it might be another two weeks ahh I hate this waiting game. Glad we are all in the same boat though ?

Hi friends! Did anyone see the recent news regarding the 9.2 million dollar grant that UArizona CON MEPN program received?? Looks like they are going to move to having 3 admission cycles for the MEPN instead of just once per year, plus I think full tuition will be paid for like 158 scholarship recipients (some stipulations like committing to working as a nurse in AZ for like 4 years post graduation) but how cool is that?! I took a tour of the Gilbert campus today, and they unfortunately don't think anyone in this upcoming Summer cohort would be eligible, but still so cool! Here's the link to check it out :)

OMG SAME. I don't know if I can make it another week without knowing! What is taking so long?!?

Also, does anyone still talk with anyone they put as a reference for volunteering/work etc? I still talk with a few (like my current boss) and I don't think they've been reached out to yet to verify anything. Is that good?! Bad?! Gah! Also, every email I get makes my heart stop. Haha

I spoke to an academic advisor on feb. 2nd and she said we'd be hearing back in a week or two. this Thursday makes two weeks so hopefully any day now we'll know! I read on their website that they don't call every reference, so they may or may not.

OMG that's great that they gave you a time frame. I really hope the advisor you spoke to isn't pulling our leg and we actually find out this week LOL. The waiting and suspense of it all is sooooo DREADFUL it's killing me? fingers crossed!

Check your email. I got waitlisted ,but it seems that they are going to open another cohort for fall and you won't have to reapply. I got accepted to Lourdes University May 14 2023 in Ohio so that's where going. Congratulations to all that got accepted.

Just heard back. I got waitlisted as well. Congrats to those who got in! I wonder if they will announce the Summer 2023 BSN-IH admits today as well.

I was actually accepted to both the Gilbert MEPN and BSN-IH programs. I'm not sure which I'll choose, but that will open a seat for one!!

@Treefrog007 That's awesome congrats! I didn't get any email in regards to the BSN-IH program yet but hopefully soon though.
