can someone break it down to me? I find out next month if I get in my program (2 year ASN) at ivytech columbus.(indiana) I am married with 2 year old twins. im just trying to mentally prepare myself for what a typical week entails ....(and how many days and for how long they will have to be at the babysitters )

Semester 2:
Basic Nursing Concepts
Semester 3:
Chronic Health Problems
Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing
Semester 4:
Family Centered Nursing
Human Growth & Development
Semester 5:
Trends & Issues in Nursing
Advanced Nursing Concepts
Clinicals are Semesters 2-5, 1-2 days/week, up to 50 miles away.

I wouldn't even be so quick to say that those that don't have kids and don't work have it easier. Everyone has different things going on in life that can effect how they do in nursing school whether it be work, kids, a bad home life etc.
