TXST St. David's School of Nursing Fall 2020

I haven't seen a thread for TXST's nursing program, so I decided to make one. I know applications are closing soon and I'm SUPER nervous, to say the least ?. How's everyone's experience been so far?

Yeah, technically I was considered a transfer (only had like 20 hrs at TXST) and they give BIG preference points to TXST students with majority of their credits from TXST. My friend got pretty much all of her credits there and had pretty much the same stats as you and got in first round.

Thats what I figured about preference.. I am a transfer as well. I didn't begin college as a nursing major and I was at UNT and they don't have a nursing program so I don't have preference anywhere...

That’s okay! I didn’t really either. I went to a junior college prior. Your stats are really good so you’ll for sure get into a program. Maybe look into UTMB? Or UT San Antonio. Neither of them do preference. I bet you’ll get a callback though! Just a matter of waiting ?

Thank you! I know UTMB admits A LOT of applicants so if not St. David’s, I’m sure they’ll have plenty of room once students decide where they’re going? ??
