Tx State Fall 2013

Just wondering if anyone else is applying for the Fall 2013 semester at Texas State in Round Rock, and/or has any detailed info as far as their selection process goes? I don't see many threads on Tx State here AT ALL, but I know there's gotta be at least few other applicants on here somewhere! Anyway, I've heard that they use some sort of point system but not sure how the different admission criteria are weighted or what the selection process entails. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I am officially going crazy waiting. I drive by campus all the time (I am at ACC RR 3x per week) and have a horrible urge to park and spy. I am sure that would get me in, right? Peeking in the windows to try to discern their selection system?

Yeah I'm still checking my Tx State email umpteen times a day, but I think we're probably gonna hear something closer to the end of the month. The email said we'd hear something "at the end of March" not "by the end of March" unfortunately....at least we only have a couple more weeks to worry wonder....

Also, I've noticed that they usually post an announcement on the St. David's SON facebook page that saying they will be sending notification to the applicants that week. Usually 2 or 3 days before they start emailing....

I feel like they must have gotten a larger number of applicants than in past years. When I went to have my fingerprints done for the background check the lady working there said that everyone who had been in for fingerprints recently had been trying for Texas State. I was really hoping for some info before spring break, but I guess we all just have to sweat it out a bit longer!

Does anyone remember the ball park time range they gave us for admission decisions? I feel like I'm am losing my mind waiting, haha.

The email I got for the Fast Pass said we'd hear something at the end of March.

I emailed someone from admissions today about my packet and she said that the acceptance letters/emails would be going out this week!

I don't remember exactly, except it was off 360. Sorry, that wasn't extremely helpful haha. This week?! Finally!! At this point I am just ready to know either way. Good luck everyone!! Who is for sure accepting if they get an offer?
