Hi!
I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!
My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.
How about y'all?
Congratulations to all accepted! I didn't apply to this program but I was just curious about the cost. I know TCU's accelerated bsn program is obscenely expensive and I was wondering how this program compares.
You can use their tuition calculator on the TWU website for one semester, then multiply it by 4 semesters. Texas Woman's University
It's about 6k per semester, so around 24k
To compare to similar programs: UTHealth is around $19k for tuition and fees
Yes, TCU's tuition is insane!! It's around $90,000 for the TCU accelerated program (not including fees, books, etc). TWU seems more reasonable. I decided to go the ADN route at Collin College even though I already have a bachelor's degree. Collin's tuition is so reasonable! But, then again I hope I can get a job afterward since a BSN seems to be preferred by some employers. I'm hoping to do the ADN/BSN bridge once I start working. Anyhow, congratulations to all of you who are going to TWU in the Spring!
Hey guys! Is anyone still looking for a roommate? I live in the Dallas area and have recently been accepted to TWU at Houston so I am currently searching for apartments near the school and hoping to find a roommate. I just joined the FB page for the class of 2019 and posted on there too so please reply on either sites if you're interested or know of anyone who is!
