Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:

Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?

I asked one of my friends in nursing school and they said the orientation before winter break is mandatory. The boot camp which is the Friday before nursing school starts is recommended but not required.

Does anyone know if TWU Houston has a white coat ceremony for incoming students? Also, I can't believe we're due to hear back soon! So nerve wracking.

I finally panicked and call nursing to see why I haven't gotten thto eligibility for mail yet. I just got tired of waiting! the advisor I talked to said they were still processing applications, but I didn't get a eligibility email because all of my transcripts weren't in by ththe deadline. She said that if thshe transcripts weren't in that the application wasn't verified by nursingcas and so my application wasn't processed because they are not processing unverified applications.

Thank you for sharing! I have not received my eligibility email yet either. Nursingcas said they had processed my transcripts but I got that message on the very last day that everything was due. Hoping things work out.

I hope that's the case (hearing back October 8th), but the eligibility email said late October or early November

I called TWU and they said they're now expecting to send out decisions by the END of October! Yay, more waiting! :(
