I haven't seen a forum for the Spring 2022 cycle yet, so I decided to make one! What are yall's current stats? Did you see on nursingcas TWU added a special question section??

There is a fee to send a TEAS transcript and it will not reach the College of Nursing." That contradicts the email you received? Hopefully they update that because some students may end up having missing documents..
That's impressive!! What did you use to study for the HESI? And did you find it harder or easier than the TEAS?
Hi there,
after you finish your TEAS test, the ATI send you a email with score report.
OR you can find it by logging your ATI account and click on “my result”, choose the test and click “download”. You will have score report.

I am wanting to apply for the Spring
TEAS- 82.7%
Science GPA- 3.44
Overall GPA - 3.36
My admission score is 50, which im not sure if thats going to be competitive enough for Dallas. I am retaking my TEAS and hopefully I can get a higher score.
Also, I don't know if anyone has looked at NursingCas but it does ask you a question "If your first choice is not available would you consider admission to another campus?" does anyone know if that means that if I don't get accepted into the dallas nursing program I could be considered for the Houston one?
Goodluck to everyone!
Yes, if you choose that option. At first round of acceptance, if you don't get in at Dallas, they consider you for Houston.

I just submitted my application and I asked the advisor what type of criteria makes an applicant competetive. They said acceptance offers are sent out late October early November, and the wait list are usually sent the next day. They have a completely new system where the excel sheet does not apply any more. They will be looking at volunteer work experience, essays, and demographic information. Just wanted to let you all know to really put all you can into your app. Good luck!
Did they say anything about how they gonna do nursing admission? Like if you have volunteer, you have a few point? Thanks!
My stats:
Nursing Core GPA: 3.88
Prerequisite GPA: 3.67
TEAS: 85.3%
Admission Score: 45.97
Feeling kinda bummed because I noticed the worksheet instructions mentioned a score of 48 or higher to be competitive for Dallas. I am taking the HESI in 5 days and am planning on applying to the TCC ASN program as well. I would rather take the long road and bridge over to a BSN vs retaking history to bump up my GPA.

Thank you! I used the HESI manual to get the foundation of basic knowledge I needed, supplemented with Youtube videos of anything I didn't understand and then used nursehub for practice questions (highly recommend) and quizlet for memorization like vocab.
Honestly I would say I found the HESI a little bit easier than the TEAS. English and reading are similar on both tests. Math is only a teeny bit "harder" on the TEAS simply because they add 1 or 2 questions on geometry, which the HESI does not cover. The science section of the TEAS is definetly harder, a big part is because they also has chem/bio , not just A&P. The only part of the HESI that can be considered more "difficult" than the TEAS is that it has an extra section of vocab, so you technically have to study for an extra section.
Hi all. I am applying for the Spring 2022 Houston location. I already submitted my application. I am a bit nervous.. but here are my stats:
I already have a bachelor of science degree in HDFS Human Services from Oregon State.
my overall GPA: 3.67
science GPA: 3.5
TEAS: 84
Not sure how competitive this will make me, if at all. Good luck to everyone!!
Hey everyone, planning to apply to the Houston campus. Not sure what my admission score is, tried using the excel sheet but it didn’t work for me. But anyway my stats are
Nursing GPA: 3.673
Prereq GPA: 3.805
TEAS: 83 (I did bad and its too late to retake it)
No previous bachelor’s, no TWU pref
I’m now nervous after seeing everyone’s stats because I believe mine are on the lower side, but I wish us all the best!
Hi guys! My stats are as follows:
Nursing GPA: 3.5
Overall GPA: 3.5
TEAS: 92.5
If I’m doing the worksheet correctly, my admission score comes out to be 47/48, which I believe is competitive for the Houston program. I’m really hoping that it is, as this is my first choice program.
Was anyone else’s TEAS report more than 3 pages? The one that’s pulling up for me is 7 pages. It’s the one with the red and blue graph.

Yes mine was 7 pages and I uploaded the whole document. They said on NursingCAS that some people would have 3 pages and some would have 7
