Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!
About me
I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed
@taylorxteddy: you can do theory classes during summer, that way, it decreases the pressure for fall, spring semesters. clincals are only offered during spring and fall.
I just called TWU, looks like the are tired of our calls, the lady refused to transfer my call to advisor ... I asked her they should know by now the accepted gpa and teas score. She would nt tell she said emails will be sent next week either monday or tuesday. Good luck everyone. I'm very stressed now.... :sofahider TWU is my only shot.... I wish we all get in
Hello everyone,
I'm late to this thread, but I applied to TWU- Houston location. I also applied to UHV 2nd degree Accelerated BSN program which is my first choice because I'll finish in a year although it will be intense. I am kind of back and forth what I want to do. Currently, I work at the VA hospital and I know students from TWU do clinicals there. If I get accepted @ TWU, I would not have to quit my job where I'm already working on a nursing unit and have an advantage because more than likely I'll get hired and don't lose my benefits or federal time. The cons is TWU program is two years and I'm more than anxious to jumpstart my career. Just curious, what should I do if I'm accepeted into both programs?
TCC's app period ended on Sept 30th and they already know.. crazy. I guess they didn't have as many applicants or something. To people on here that applied and got accepted to that program CONGRATS! At least you are know you are going somewhere:) I am sure the people are so mad at people calling lol. I am just ready to find out either or.

Ready... if you get accepted to both... I know getting it done in a year would be great but if you were able to keep your job AND get hired on once completed.. I would pick TWU. Good luck:)
