twu spring 2012 applicants!

You are not the only one who is freaked out . The book has a lot to cover.... I have no idea what will happen on monday. We covered three chapters in three hours.. it tuk me 3 dayz to finish reading chapter 15 and besides that, We have to study not read . I'm gonna just study hard ... and lets c wht happens on monday..... good luck n see you on monday.

Again... not information that is useful to the greater good for most "TWU Spring 2012 applicants." I don't mean to be unnecessarily bureaucratic, but this is a thread for people to post information that may be instrumental in assisting others with the application process.

@heavykevy, we are all applicants for spring 2012, and at this point the application process has been completed. There is really nothing left to do but sit and wait, and obsessively check our email to see if anything is missing. Other than that, there is not much to talk about other than the building anxiety. However, once admitted to the CON, all of the admitted students will have to take Dr. McArthur's class, because she is the only patho professor in Dallas, so they may gain some useful information from the conversation. I apologize for the annoyance though :)

Ah, I see how it can be relevant to those Dallas folk. Thanks for shedding the light. We'll have to figure out what to say about the Houston class for those of us down here.

@abranson- trying to lighten my load for 1st semester :) I'm sure with clinicals being a 5 cr class along with pharm and another course that I will be plenty stressed as it is lol. @heavykevy- are you as nervous as the rest of us?

Not so much nervous I wouldn't say. I'm a bit impatient for my current college to post my degree from Summer, along with awaiting an email with more info from the SON. I applied to 4 schools of varying prestige, so I'm fairly confident that I'll be sitting in a BSN program in the Spring... just not sure where. TWU is one of my top choices obviously. It's nearby and... well... one of the best.

I forgot to apply for graduation ahead of finishing a&p in summer, so my degree just got posted a few days ago, though I can't pick up a diploma until October or so. I put all of my eggs into one basket and applied only to Twu. I believe there are more programs down there than here in Dallas. The only choices we have are UTA, Baylor(which is outrageously expensive and I would not even consider), and Twu. I think I'll be fine, I just wish I got the bump.

@ Texas_girl,

I sent u request on fb. Are u in BSN or in graduate????? Last time I checked with advisor, she said acceptance letters will be sent out in last week of sept or first week of october. I've heard sometimes it gets extended beyond second week too. The registeration for spring starts in first of November, I'm sure we all will know before that . I have applied only to TWU. My fingers are crossed, I hope we all get what is best for us.

If it's on your transcript you can still turn it in to TWU. They only needed to have transcripts showing the completed prereqs that were required to be completed before application.

Once you get your degree posted (even after the Sept 1 deadline) you can send that transcript in and TWU will post your degree. The diploma is useless, really, unless you'd like to hang it in your library with the rich mahogany and leather-bound books :rolleyes:
