TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Hi all,

Congrats to all they were accepted into Fall 2019 nursing class. I have went through countless post in this thread but I can't seem to find the Stats/averages for TWU Fall 2019 acceptance scores. Can anyone re-post please if they seen them.

Hi there! The school didn’t release them for our cohort. Your best bet is to look at the stats for the people in the program you are going to apply for. Before I applied, I looked at the stats for those that did and did not get in to the N&W program. Hope that helps!

Hello NJ28

How can you look at the stats of the people in the program ?

You have to go back through this thread and look at the individual posts.

I have created a new thread for Fall 2020 applicants. Please share this information. Thanks

Thanks

If you're asking about Hep B shots yes they do

Oh thank goodness! Are you referring to the series that takes place on Day 0, Day 7, and Day 30? I need to complete the series right away for another school that I am applying to. Thank you again!

what is accelerated series ?

I understand that is an accelerated option that takes 30 days for the hep B series instead of 6 months.

No, I am referring to Hepsilav B. It is two shots over the course of 8 weeks. You get first shot, wait 4 weeks and get the second, wait 4 weeks and get titers done. I haven't heard of what you mentioned above but can say TWU only takes the traditional 3 dose Hep B or the 2 dose Hepsilav B. If you are applying to SHSU they no longer require you to have the shots complete before applying just FYI.
