TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Hey everyone I know it would be super helpful to post the stats for those that didn't get in and could possibly get on the waitlist so I was wondering if yall could do that :)

Hi! I got in to the Dallas campus, and my stats are below. Good luck to those applying next semester and those on the waitlist!! My TEAS scores weren't that great but I had a good GPA so I guess that balanced out. I had a previous bachelors and the 16 hr TWU preference.

TEAS composite: 82.7
(Eng: 87.5, Math: 87.5, Science: 74.5, Reading: 83)

GPA: 3.96

Total points: 58.7

I chatted with an advisor and they said that it's confidential and they can't tell me anything about stats.

I feel like the stats were around the same as Fall 2018...i wonder why this cycle they decided not to tell....

Thats weird since they always post it.... I really want to know so I can see if im close on the waitlist!

I'm not sure. Fall 2018 cut off score was 39ish for Houston. My score is 42.20 and I didn't get accepted this semester so maybe for Houston it's a little more competitive than last Fall.

Anyone here has a score higher than mine but didn't get accepted?

oh, yea Houston was more competitive this time around then bc the cutoff was around 39 last fall....did you try emailing the "general nursing" email to see if maybe you could get a response from there? i know i seen a couple of people saying they were given up there spot for houston so hopefully you have a chance of getting in!

I emailed Mrs. Cole and she said they wont send out "waitlist" emails until after the two week period is up.
